Goal

Owner: Console consumer-contract design. Establish a version-pinned capability/read/auth matrix and conclusive minimal browser access design before live integration.

Why / Current Evidence

Operators need trustworthy facts without credential copying or costly collection per tab. Console seed d6468f3a6c has no integration. Kernel eb4f4a2956712bfaf39a3271e1523e7f77a91e26 status/export open exclusive SQLite; Router 8d9d4b04bcb23fe19ff702b6209fbcb1537cdf1b /v1/status collects capacity every read; MI fb7299810fdc4612d4e0559465faef571662c6ef exposes only in-process synthetic proof. Source: bootstrap sections 3,5,6,8,9; G08/G09/G10/G13.

Scope / Non-Goals

Inventory producer identities, supported schema/capability/version, observation/revision/freshness, read costs, auth scopes, origin/session restrictions, correlation and missing semantics. Research direct access versus a justified thin session boundary; no guessed endpoint/shared schema, unrestricted proxy, identity platform or producer implementation.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Exact producer revisions/interfaces and principal/scope tested or clearly unavailable; never-connected/unconfigured/unsupported/denied distinguished.
  • Passive reads do not invoke inference, reset redemption, benchmarks or unnecessary collectors; bounded refresh/cache/backoff specified by producer evidence, not invented TTLs.
  • Conclusive exit: approve one authenticated local topology with threat/conformance evidence, or enumerate exact remaining owning contracts/owner decision; no open-ended research.
  • Test version mismatch, revoked/expired scope, hostile origins/hosts, restricted redirects and absent producer without blanking peers.

Constraints

Security: no provider/Forge secrets in browser/URLs/logs; no active producer DB/shell bypass. Compatibility/migration: version-pin matrix, unknown authority fail closed, connection/settings changes explicit. Reuse: inspect existing producer delegation and established secure client/session primitives with exact files/license before build. Priority P1, prerequisite to live reads. Live service/browser access requires separate bounded authorization; no inference needed/authorized.

Explicit owner /loop selected this oldest eligible P1 design issue after refreshing all open canonical issues, comments and dependencies. Implemented bounded missing-contract exit in PR #18: #18.

Base 5d5a539b62; HEAD a4090e97a6. docs/contracts.md pins current committed producer inventory, authority/read costs, exact remaining contracts and five negative acceptance cases with unavailable browser proof explicitly identified. docs/roadmap.md preserves downstream actual read/auth gates despite possible design closure. No live topology approved, implementation endpoint invented or external producer mutated.

make install and make check PASS (20 Markdown files, 16 tests/3 files, actual temporary licensed artifact); full/staged diff whitespace passed. Producer tests were inspected, not executed; no live calls/inference/browser/credentials. Fresh frozen whole-PR independent review is next; no merge or issue closure yet.

Completed the issue's explicitly allowed conclusive missing-contract design exit in merged PR #18: #18.

Approved base 5d5a539b62; approved implementation commit/HEAD a4090e97a6; actual merge commit and current canonical develop e741dbed5e. MCP verifies merged; fetched Git verifies approved base/HEAD ancestors and exact accepted docs/contracts.md + docs/roadmap.md contents in develop. Merge preserves normal commit/history.
