Authority and Scope

Direct owner workflow/UX mandate dated 2026-10-05, not implementation of a functional backlog issue. The owner explicitly requested a worktree from develop to preserve concurrent work, PR creation, independent review and automatic integration after approval. This delivery does not invoke autonomous issue selection or authorize main, release, deployment, product behavior, new dependencies or cross-repository mutation.

Acceptance

  • Apply a generic shared Class A engineering/execution versus Class B genuine owner-decision contract consistently to loop, implement-issue, review-pr, finish-pr, reviewer guidance and rules.
  • Diagnose Class A problems and attempt the minimum safe authorized technical remedy before owner escalation. Permit explicit clean synthetic environments, existing locked tool/dependency repair, temporary exact-object worktrees/checkouts, ephemeral Docker isolation, independent public pinned-source verification, smaller sufficient proofs and authorized fresh reviewer/tool-path failover.
  • No automatic Docker default or persistent infrastructure. No ambient secret inheritance, credential-directory mounts, secret images/logs, permission/network expansion, acceptance weakening or unauthorized effects.
  • Preserve bounded work: recorded finite technical attempt/time limits, default three attempts per distinct obstacle across reentry, and the existing ten-whole-PR-review delivery ceiling. Every dispatched failed/COMMENT attempt keeps its ordinal; no identical retries or reset.
  • Distinguish actual findings, infrastructure failures and judgment uncertainty. Preserve fresh independent whole-PR/exact-HEAD review, stable JSON handoff and reviewer model/deny-by-default permissions.
  • Before STOP_AND_ASK, record exact decision, why owner-controlled, autonomous paths considered, why insufficient, and smallest materially distinct choices. BLOCKED requires exhausted authorized paths/budget or external dependency without workaround; no artificial owner question.
  • Preserve selection/gates, supported exact-approved develop PR merge and completion rules, no direct develop push, main, releases or deployments.

Changes and Validation

Updated all four commands, reviewer prose, shared workflow/validation/ledger rules, entry-point/contributor documentation and adaptation notices. Regression tests now pin unchanged reviewer security/model frontmatter and JSON fields instead of freezing prose that this mandate changes, and cover remediation/isolation/secrets/public evidence/failover/escalation contracts.

HEAD: 07a7bc7e5d425c21fe149c21d980303067d86571

Executed make install; make check passed, including 19 tests, formatting, Markdown, local links, secretlint, strict types and ephemeral static build/runtime licensing. Final full gate also passed under env -i with only operational PATH, synthetic HOME/cache/tmp and offline npm. Unstaged, staged and full-base git diff --check passed. Original checkout was not switched or edited.

These are workflow text-contract checks, not proof of runtime command loading, hosted isolation, Docker failover or live product readiness. Workspace reload may be needed for updated command/agent definitions. Independent review pending.

Independent native whole-PR review ordinal 3 returned APPROVE with empty findings for exact HEAD 07a7bc7e5d425c21fe149c21d980303067d86571 / base e741dbed5ef47bb9d64fd36c71ac9a3e9da060c8. Reviewer independently verified canonical refs, clean checkout before/after, whole frozen delta and executed offline make check (19 tests and all gates) plus whitespace checks. Ordinals 1 and 2 remain recorded as COMMENT infrastructure failures: external-directory restriction and preloaded normal-checkout restriction. Parent resolved them with diagnosed changed execution paths, ultimately a clean workspace-contained ordinary temporary checkout, without widening permissions or owner escalation.

Final MCP/Git currentness matched the independently approved exact objects; PR is open/unmerged/mergeable targeting develop. Canonical CI run #2217 succeeded for the approved HEAD. The direct owner's explicit merge authorization applies to this workflow delivery only. No product runtime/dependencies or main/release/deploy changes. Offline checks do not prove command discovery, automatic failover or containment; workspace reload may be needed.

Integrated and verified under the direct owner mandate. Forgejo reports PR #19 merged with commit 9cffa02830a50d8fec026b9b7a3056de692a02b3; fetched canonical develop matches it. Merge parents are exact approved base e741dbed5ef47bb9d64fd36c71ac9a3e9da060c8 and reviewed HEAD 07a7bc7e5d425c21fe149c21d980303067d86571; approved HEAD ancestry passes and the integrated tree equals the reviewed tree. A final env -i offline make check at the actual merge passed all 19 tests and full gates. The isolated worktree is clean at the integrated commit, and the original concurrent-task checkout was not switched or edited. No functional issue was closed; no product runtime, main, release or deployment changes. Updated command/agent loading may require a workspace reload.
