Summary

Classify bounded oversized HTTP responses as source-size-policy while preserving incomplete/inconsistent framing rejection.
Raise the selected pricing source cap from the measured old 2,620 bytes to 4,096 bytes. This intentionally changes SOURCE_CONFIG/SCOPE; no publication schema changes.
Add regressions for byte-limit framing, pricing parser isolation, old-scope refusal/pointer preservation, and fresh-scope publication.

Evidence

The official pricing URL returned HTTP 200 at 2026-10-27T08:28:07Z. A bounded 65,536-byte no-redirect identity-encoding probe reached EOF at 3,010 bytes (UTF-8; SHA-256 33a372c40dc41ea671512a575590cdd218e648897e4b4dce9caa49fc7dc0e205; no Content-Length). The old 2,620-byte policy failed. With the new cap, the existing refresh/normalize/publish path completed all eight sources at 08:31:19Z in a disposable store; reference/active pointer 10f30c51433244e02c2abd2186a41aa98c169478bc47d8cbf829f0af6f05d25f.

Router D-082 positive adoption remains NOT ESTABLISHED: current source scope has no channel, per-subject reasoning configuration/effort is not evidenced, and no source-supported freshness is present. Router was not changed and the new scope is not represented as compatible with its old pinned MI revision.

Validation

make check passed (181 tests; Ruff, format, basedpyright, diff checks). uv build and the isolated installed-distribution verifier passed current/direct/rebuilt, legacy/current/producer/downgrade modes.
